By now, you probably understand why link authority is so important. You can determine the authority of any website using Semrush’s Authority Score metric . But what exactly is AS and what does it measure?

Authority Score is our domain score, a composite metric that evaluates the georgia email list overall quality of a website and tells you how influential a backlink from a site can be. The score is based on the following data from Semrush:
Quantity and quality (authority) of the domain's backlinks
Amount of referring domains and amount of referring IPs
Follow links and nofollow links
Organic Search Traffic (from our Organic Positions report)
The number of users (from our Traffic Analytics report)
To get information about the authority score of your current links, you can use the Backlink Analysis tool . You can view your site's links and their associated authority score in the " Backlinks " tab:


You will see the authority score in the first column "AS of the page" : the higher the score, the higher the authority of the link.

But what happens when you need to look for new links?

You can run any domain through the Backlink Analysis tool to see the AS of that domain, not just those that link to it. You can see this in the Domain Overview tab:

Remember that the goal of link building should be to get links from sites with a high authority score , and with the data provided by these tools, you can use this information for your selection.
