Negative reviews for restaurants are a source of indigestion, and I sincerely hope this study provides some welcome relief. The average star rating of the 150 “best” restaurants we surveyed is 4.5. Read that again: 4.5. And the number of perfect 5-star pairings in our study? Absolutely zero. Time for your agency to take a moment to breathe deeply with clients.
The highest rating for any restaurant in our data set is 4.8, and only belgium number data establishments have a rating that high. The lowest sits at 4.1. Every other business falls somewhere in between. These ratings are based on customer reviews, and the 4.5 average proves that perfection doesn't have to be just about "the best."
Breaking down a dining spot with 73 reviews, it earned a 4.6-star rating with fifty-six 5-star reviews, four 4-star reviews, three 3-star reviews, two 2-star reviews, and three 1-star reviews. 23 percent of diners in this small review set had a less than ideal experience, but the restaurant still earned a high rating. Practically speaking for your clients, the odd night when the pho was sticky and burnt yellow can be tossed onto the compost heap of forgivable mistakes.
