So, that made me think a lot. Which is not very good for my mind since it is supposed to rest a little, but I said to myself: Hey, we could very well listen to Seneca and do what we already do for our body, a lot of alternating periods between efforts (physical efforts, walking, sports, moving) and rest. When we are going to rest, we are going to settle down, we are not going to be doing sports all day. So, we alternate rest and solicitation.

muscles are built. You work a muscle hard to tire it out and it's when there is a rest period that the muscle grows. If we only did weight training all day, the muscles wouldn't grow. So, we could try to use this for the mind by taking it easy.

It's an activity that I practiced for a few years, that I dropped, but I think that meditation is exactly that in fact. It's a rest of the mind since meditating is not thinking about nothing, because that's impossible, but it's letting your thoughts pass naturally, without forcing, without forcing yourself not to think. It's really meditation, letting go, letting yourself go.
