Karen’s 9 to 5 resume is just as vast as her editorial portfolio, with focus on user operations and support in the Bay Area’s booming tech industry. She’s currently sharing her writing/editing and social media expertise on Salesforce’s developer marketing team. She has also worked in office administration, local politics, at a doggy daycare, and of course, in retail.
San Francisco Giants baseball is a huge part of Karen’s life and had a bit part in her work as well. A devoted fan since 2007, she was part of the @CafeSFG social media staff for games at AT&T Park for the 2016 and 2017 seasons as well as the 2018 Fanfest. When she’s not at the yard or she can’t make a road game (Which is like 99.9 percent of the time), she’s usually complaining whatsapp number database chatting about the game with followers on her personal Twitter.
Aside from writing, work, enjoying movies/music/etc, and baseball, Karen can be seen out and about in SF wearing yoga pants and a hoodie or a floral dress, or petting someone else’s dog. Most likely, she’ll have a cocktail in her hand at a bar, chatting it up with old and new friends alike. She continues to be a proud advocate for progressive causes and human rights and currently serves as a member of Spark, a philanthropic professional network that invests in improving the lives of women across the globe.
