Once your Shopify store design is ready, the next step is to add your products. Shopify makes this process quick and easy, too, allowing you to manage everything from descriptions to images, and organize them into categories and collections. Let's look at how to proceed with creating product pages and organizing them into categories and collections.
Creating product sheets
Creating product cards on Shopify is a simple and very intuitive process. . Here are the steps to create a product card:
Access the Products section : from the Shopify dashboard go to “Products” and click on “ Add Product” to open the page where you can enter all the product details.
Product Title and Description : Your product title should be clear and concise, but descriptive enough to communicate what you’re selling (for example, “Red Pure Wool T-Shirt”). Your product description is an 99 acres database opportunity to provide important details, such as features, benefits, materials, and instructions for use. Shopify lets you format your description with bold text, bullet points, and additional images.
Product Images : Upload high-quality images showing your product from different angles, preferably on a white background.
Price : In the “Price” section, enter the cost of the product. You can also set an original price and a sale price if you want to highlight a promotion. Shopify automatically calculates the percentage discount if you enter both figures.
Inventory Management : If you want to monitor the stock of your products, you can enable the inventory management feature. Enter the number of units available and decide whether to allow customers to purchase even when the product is out of stock (pre-orders).
Product variations : If your product comes in multiple variations (such as sizes or colors), Shopify lets you create a single product listing with all the variations. For each, you can specify the price, images, and quantity.
Each card represents a single product
