Access to the study of a professional certificate

Not everyone can access a Professional Certificate and one of the main reasons why this is not possible is due to the previous studies that you have completed.

The only case in which there are no academic or professional requirements is for Grade C level 1 , but even so, participants must have sufficient communication skills to take advantage of the learning and in the case of requiring prior basic skills, the offer may incorporate training supplements.

If you want to obtain a Level 2 certificate , you will need to have a Secondary School Diploma, another Level 2 Professional Certificate, a Competence Certificate included in the job offer or a Level 1 Professional Certificate from the same professional family.

Can you obtain a professional certificate through work experience?
Yes, but not automatically. It must be requested according to a new model of accreditation of competencies:

These were limited and it was necessary to wait for each type of competence to be announced. Now they are eliminated and an open administrative process of a permanent nature is generated.
This new model covers all existing competition units.
It is installed in all Vocational Training centers.

The involvement of companies in the accreditation of their workers is sought.
You will be able to obtain your certification if you can provide all kinds of documents that prove not only your work experience, but also any partial training you have received (for example, training that is carried out while working, such as free training courses for employment ). The aim is that when you move on to the assessment you only have to demonstrate, through the tests that the Commission decides, the smallest number of skills and knowledge of the professional competence in question.
