Samsung and Cabify join forces to offer new digital experiences on city trips

Samsung and Cabify , the trendy app that allows you to request a ride with a driver to take you to your destination in just two steps, announce that they have reached a collaboration agreement to offer users new digital solutions that enrich the transportation experience.

The first result of this collaboration, to which new projects will be added throughout the year, has been the integration of Samsung's Galaxy Tab A (2016) tablets with the CarMedia Solutions platform in the Cabify fleet of cars, offering its customers multimedia content, real-time tourist information, and other digital services, such as a voice translator in seven languages.

The pilot of this project starts today in Barcelona and will be present during the Mobile World Congress in the city of Barcelona. Until March 5, customers who request one of Cabify's norway phone data vehicles will be able to access different multimedia information and entertainment content on board, with videos updated continuously and available in several languages, to enjoy a more enjoyable journey, thus making the most of the technological potential of the large screen of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) tablet installed in the vehicle's headrest.

The content is permanently georeferenced based on the place where the car is moving, allowing users to enjoy videos related to the tourist spots where the car is moving and discover the most emblematic sites as they travel around the city. All of this is complemented by a series of services that take full advantage of the potential of high-speed 4G connectivity, Cloud Computing and different digital tools based on artificial intelligence algorithms, such as voice recognition with a translator that allows Cabify drivers to converse with foreign clients in a simple way.
