Google's artificial intelligence

Post by masud.ibne8800 »

If we want to put a face to Google's artificial intelligence, we can look to Ray Kurzweill, an extravagant visionary who correctly predicted the year in which a machine would beat the best chess player.

Raymund Kurzweill quoted a couple of sentences about Artificial Intelligence at two different times.

The following quotes, taken from some in-depth research I did on Kurzweill, helped me understand where we can go to get those coveted featured snippets.

We start with Ray's first sentence...

It will be an intelligence that, imitating the human model, will be able to respond with emotions, communicate through art or contribute philosophical ideas. Once we have the model that works, the capacity of machines to learn will be immense.

— Raymond Kurzweill, 2002. Futurist list of phone number in philippines and Director of Engineering at Google

From this phrase we must focus on the concept “the ability of machines to learn.”

This statement by the futurologist and expert in Artificial Intelligence was made in an interview with the magazine "Muy Interesante" in 2002, four years after the birth of Google.

And here we have his second sentence, once Kurzweill is hired by Google as Director of Engineering in 2012.

Google's mission is to organize and process all the world's information in order to subsequently be able to maintain an intelligent dialogue with the user.
