To better understand how operators work

Let's say the user needs to know how many search queries there were for the phrase "buy a vacuum cleaner" . Without using operators, Wordstat gives statistics of 926,888 times. But this does not mean that the phrase "buy a vacuum cleaner" was searched for that many times. These statistics include phrases such as "buy a vacuum cleaner + in St. Petersburg" , "buy a vacuum cleaner cheap", etc.
Search words without operators
Using the operators """" and "!" for the buy weight loss leads same phrase (they are always used without quotation marks), we will get completely different data. They will display the exact number of requests for the entered key, without any other words or word forms. That is, such operators are used specifically for strict search.

Wordstat allows you to find out the frequency of Yandex queries by region and check the history of key phrases. To do this, you also only need to change the search settings.
In the "By Regions" block , there is an option to select data for a specific city or region based on a query of interest. The "Regional Popularity" item displays the percentage of demand for a key phrase in a given area or city: increased interest in a given location is observed with a value greater than 100%, decreased interest is observed with a result of up to 100%.
The "Query History" block shows the dynamics of the frequency of queries in Yandex by year (for the past two), and also allows you to track seasonality. Here you can build a graph of key phrases by month or week, see information on a certain type of device, for example, on desktops, mobile equipment in general or in a section.

Needed to record stop words. By default, the program does not take into account pronouns, prepositions and other service parts of speech. In order for one of them to be taken into account, it is necessary to add a plus before it.

Does not include words and phrases that follow it. For example, we can remove from statistics all queries that contain "repair", "firmware", "settings", "free", etc.
