Hello! Today we offer you a fun little game to test your French vocabulary. Of course, it will also allow you to learn lots of new words.

Hello and thanks for joining me. Today, we're going to test your vocabulary and try to teach you some words. The idea is simple. We're going to show you some objects on the screen, either as an image or as a mini video clip. And your job is going to be to find the name of this object. We want you to guess the name of the object yourself to try to assess your vocabulary level. We'll give you a few seconds to think, to try to name the object that you'll see on the screen, and then we'll give you the right answer.

So today, we looked for some fun objects. You'll see that they're not necessarily objects that we use all the time. Some of them, yes, but some of them are objects that are a little less used. The idea was to be fun and to try to test you too. We really want to teach you vocabulary while having fun.

There are some fairly easy words to sweden whatsapp number data guess and some that are really tricky. I don't think we'll have any members who can guess all 15 words. So I'm giving you a challenge. Are you ready? Let's go.

Here is the first word to guess. It is an everyday object that is used a lot. Personally, I don't use it much, but it is an object that is widely used by the majority of French and other households. Can you guess what object it is or what the name of this object is? The answer is the remote control, it is the word "remote control". The prefix "tele" means "at a distance" and the word "command" comes from the verb "command": to command at a distance, to give information at a distance. The remote control, well, we use it to change channels or put more sound on the television.

Second word, this is also an everyday object, it is an object that we use in our homes in one of the household tasks, let's say. So this object, you must know its name in your mother tongue, but do you know what we call it in French? It is a vacuum cleaner. The verb "aspirer" means to take air or make a movement so that the air enters. For example, if I do [aspiration], then I aspire. So it can be air or liquid. If I want to aspirate water, I will face the water. So this is a vacuum cleaner that ultimately sucks up dirt, things that are on the floor.

Thirdly, you have certainly already borrowed this object in your life, you have already used it. It could be at the shopping centre for example or maybe in a train station. What do you call this object? Yes, so in French, there are several ways to describe it, but we often say that it is an escalator. Basically, it is a brand. Escalator is a brand and it was a brand so present on the market that it gave its name to the object. There are other examples like a Karcher for example, which is a high-pressure cleaner, but Kärcher is such a well-known brand that sometimes instead of saying "I am going to use my high-pressure cleaner", we say "I am going to use my Karcher". So here, it is an escalator that is used to climb. Escalader means to go up, to climb.
