"Our work is a real intellectual game": Albina Nikulina, head of PR at the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis

Today we will talk about PR in psychology and education. How to catch the tone of voice to speak the same language with the younger generation, how to overcome stereotypes and defend your reputation against the background of numerous "pseudopsychologists" and how to popularize psychoanalysis - these are the topics of our next issue.

What approaches and methods of communication do you use to attract young people’s attention to psychology?
?
Today, young people are less likely to choose psychology honduras mobile database as their main profession, preferring other areas, often more practical or popular. Nevertheless, young people are interested in this area, especially when the information is presented in an accessible and entertaining form.

The main channel of communication with the youth audience is, of course, social networks. There we create content that is informative and entertaining at the same time: short videos with analysis of popular psychological films, discussion of current topics through the prism of psychology, or even memes on psychotherapeutic topics.

In addition, we actively use this tone of voice to speak the same language with young people: informal communication style, humor and relevant cultural references make communication more lively and relaxed. We try to avoid complex terminology and academic language when communicating with a young audience.

Open events play an important role in generating interest in psychology — for this purpose, we organize various formats of meetings, lectures, and master classes. The summer psychology festival InpsychoFest, which we held for the second time, gathered more than 3,500 people in 2024, which confirms the audience's growing interest in psychology. And the three-month project "Emotionarium" on the roof of the Darwin Museum, which was implemented by the institute last summer, became a real art object, where everyone could escape from the daily routine and immerse themselves in the world of inner self-knowledge with the help of art therapy, yoga classes, and lectures by famous psychologists.
