xHow not to be part of the 95% of blogs that are abandoned in less than 1 year

Forget that SEO is the most important thing if you want to create a blog. It all starts with your motivation. Success is a consequence of maintaining the illusion and passion for blogging.

If you are one of those who think that creating good content is enough to promote a blog, this post is not for you. Creating articles on a constant basis is a key pillar of this blog. I write a post every day and I do it because it brings me value, even if it does not always have to be financial. Even so, this is not enough.

Most blogs die for very simple reasons. It's not really a lack of time or ideas that many people use as their main excuse. It's a matter of priorities. In order for your blog to rise in your personal ranking of important journalist contact database tasks to accomplish, you need to find internal and external motivation.

1. Self-motivation and passion: no one is responsible for motivating you . If you don't want to start a blog, it's better not to even consider it. A blog is not work, for a blogger it is pleasure and passion. Not everyone has to have a blog. If writing makes you suffer, look for other activities that make you happy.

2. Blogging as therapy : I am lucky enough to have several passions in my life. Aside from my family, I enjoy being an entrepreneur, running marathons, and blogging. I have learned to find a way to relax when I write . I don't get to do it every day, but I will continue to work on it.

3. Set personal goals : My goal was to position myself as one of the top blogs in the sector . I currently lead the ranking of top marketing blogs by Tatum and PRNoticias. In addition, the Webempresa jury made up of professionals in the sector recently chose me as the best digital marketing blog in Spanish in 2012 (forgive me for self-promotion, but I was born in Germany and it is obvious that I have not had my grandmother around… :)).
