I don't know what that will look like, because right now it's an active discussion within the team. What I do know is that no matter what we propose, it will be controversial. ... Change will be controversial, whatever form it takes. But it's important that we do something because everyone is unhappy with URLs. They kind of suck.

A web without a URL? How that could be implemented is hard to switzerland cell phone number list imagine. Every webmaster and SEO's hair stands on end at first. What's going to happen? What impact will this have on my website, my rankings, my sales? The key now is not to panic. For now, all we can do is wait and see what the exact solution will be and how and by when it's planned to be implemented. It will be important to make any necessary adjustments during the transition phase to stay on track. Fundamentally, it's not a bad idea to address the URL with all its problems and to question it. Only through change and optimization can we make the web a better, safer place that's in keeping with its times.

A commentary.
