Yes, during the fair I had the opportunity to talk to a representative of Phillips, who offered me the opportunity to do an internship in the Insights & Analytics department. The position was selected based on our conversation, during which we discussed my interests and previous experience.

TALENT DAYS: No wonder Talent Days was a #PerfectMatch! How is your internship experience so far? Is it good?

OLGA: I really like the job. I think the team is well-coordinated and always offers support, which is very important at the beginning of a career. The analysis department is a great support for the marketing department. So I can develop in both of these areas and I am incredibly happy about it.

We know what this story looked like from Olga's perspective, but let's try to take on the role of a recruiter! The perspective of the other side can help you present yourself effectively when meeting potential employers at job fairs and... not only.
We asked Ula Osipuk from Philips to share her observations on recruitment.

TALENT DAYS: Hey Ula! Phillips hired Olga for an internship in our Insights & Analytics department. Was there anything that you felt made Olga stand out from other candidates?

ULA: Hi! That's a really tough question. During the fairs, recruiters talk to hundreds of candidates all day long, from morning to night. In Olga's case, the situation was a bit easier because she took part in Talent Match. This initiative gives us more time to get to know the other person. Ania, my teammate, was talking to Olga at the time. After the meeting, she came to me and said: "Ula, I have the perfect candidate for you for the Insights & Analytics team!"
Olga is incredibly motivated and committed. Although she and Ania were talking about a completely different position, Ania immediately associated her with this specific position. We had Olga's CV and her contact details, so the next day I contacted her to arrange a meeting with her potential manager. After the meeting, Olga did something she always recommends to students during trainings - she took the initiative and sent a thank-you email after the interview. It was great! Ultimately, she was chosen for the internship out of the two best candidates.
