Meta will close Workplace, its social network for companies, on June 1, 2026

Meta has just announced the end of Workplace . Although this will not be immediate, but will involve a multi-stage process that will culminate in its final closure in 2026 . The company has shared the news through a statement with the users of this social network for companies that was designed to facilitate communication between employees.
Meta has wanted to highlight that its account management and customer service teams are available to users to facilitate this process and answer any questions that may arise.
The company has also recommended a possible replacement for Workplace . Meta has pointed to Zoom's Workvivo as the best migration option and has stated that they will collaborate with this platform to bahamas number data offer additional tools and services that facilitate the transition from one to the other for their users.
What will be the Workplace closure process?
As Meta has explained, the closure of Workplace will be divided into three stages.
Users will be able to continue using the platform as normal until August 31, 2025 .
From 1 September 2025 to 31 May 2026 , it will only be possible to access the platform to read and download existing data.
On June 1, 2026, Workplace will be phased out .
How to download your Workplace information
If you are a Workplace system administrator , you can use the Workplace Graph API to export your data. If you are a regular user , you can download your data from the platform from the settings (this option must be enabled by your administrator).
