Carlos Ríos, the influencer known for making the real fooding movement fashionable , is facing off with the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 for not complying with European regulations on unfair commercial practices .
The international investigation carried out by the Consumer Protection Cooperation Network (CPC) revealed that 70% of the Spanish influencers investigated (a total of 40) did not comply with the regulations. Therefore, the Spanish Ministry of Consumer Affairs sent a notification to these creators (without implying any sanction) to inform them and to adopt good practices. However, Carlos Ríos did not take it very well.
What happened to Carlos Rios
We have often seen this influencer commenting on his brazil number data social media about how harmful ultra-processed foods are for our health, as well as recommending products that, in his opinion, are not.
In the latter case, he usually does so through collaborations with brands such as Fresón de Palos, Tomates de Almería , Plátano de Canarias, Moulinex or "with any other real food brand" as he himself says; or for free , that is, he sees healthy products and recommends them to his followers in an informative way.
In recent months, Carlos Ríos has also attacked the food in Spanish hospitals, calling on the Government to address the poor quality of the products they offer. He himself has therefore linked the arrival of this notification as a "wake-up call" for these criticisms.
