Entrepreneurship is one of our favorite topics at Cursos Femxa, and many of our courses are geared toward preparing our students to found their own company. Creating a company from scratch often seems like building castles in the air. So, to show you that it is a real possibility, I suggest we look at how to found businesses in Navarra.

Navarra is an interesting model because companies are created very quickly. In April of this year alone, 78 commercial companies were founded in this community. In contrast, in the same period only 3 commercial companies were dissolved, and this month has been the most dynamic community.

Navarra, the community with the greatest business dynamism.
The most interesting thing about this figure is how encouraging it is compared to the same period last year. 41.8% more businesses have been founded in Navarre and 57.1% fewer have ecuador phone data been dissolved. This improvement compared to last year places this community at the head of Spain in terms of performance. What we must now ask ourselves is what strategy is being followed in Navarre to promote entrepreneurship.

The smart specialization strategy or S3.
First of all, some context: For some time now, Europe has been working together to overcome social challenges. This is done through an initiative called the European Strategy 2020. It is called this because it sets out the objectives that Europe has set for 2020. Part of these objectives is to reduce unemployment, and the “Smart Specialization Strategies” model was designed for this purpose.

The idea of the model is that each region should identify the strengths of its industry and focus on them. Therefore, in the case of business in Navarra, a study was carried out to see which sectors to promote. Due to a combination of sectors on the rise and challenges that were to be overcome, six sectors were selected to promote:

Automotive and mechatronics.
Food chain.
Renewable energy and resources.
Health.
Comprehensive tourism.
Creative and digital industries.
