TOThere are many myths and theories surrounding social media, especially about how it displays content that we have recently been interested in or that we generally like. Facebook, to dispel the fog on this topic, has revealed a little more about predictive AI .

In the past, the social network had already shared details about its india business email database algorithm that helped us understand how it works, and to see that it is not really about reading our minds or spying on us , but about the interactions we generate in it. However, the machine learning classification system , ML for its acronym in English, that drives this algorithm is very complex and has several layers.

What does this selection process consist of?
The main factor that this incredibly laborious job of sorting takes into account is the volume of users. Facebook has more than 2 billion users around the world, and when one of them enters their profile, this algorithm goes into action. For each user, there are more than a thousand posts that can be left on their homepage, but not all of them are really relevant. Therefore, thousands of signals come into play that the system must evaluate to determine what would be most relevant for each user. And it happens in the background, in the seconds it takes to load the homepage of your profile.
