This past Thursday the 19th, Elefante Verde held a lecture at CUBO about one of the values that sustain our culture and BI : Accountability .
The speaker, Natalia Taglieri , a Human Resources professional with 10 years of experience in the area, presented in detail the tools of this culture and led us to reflect on how the way we think and act impacts our results .
For those who did not have the opportunity to commercial property owners database participate in this event, or who do not yet know the meaning of accountability, I share some of this content here:
The term does not have a literal translation into Portuguese, but the feeling of placing oneself as the owner of the business or responsible for the situation undoubtedly represents it.
The goal is to always have an “above the line” attitude!
Which means that when I SEE a problem or situation I must TAKE responsibility and DO something about it, think about and put into practice a sustainable and responsible solution and not outsource the responsibility for the bad result.
However, the demands and pressures of everyday life sometimes prevent us from achieving better results due to “below the line” attitudes.
Have you ever found yourself thinking: “It’s not my responsibility”, “nobody told me what to do”, “I didn’t know”, “this client isn’t mine”, “I did my part”, “it’s his fault”, “someone will solve this”?
It is natural to want to stay in our comfort zone and avoid burnout, but to achieve our life and career goals we need to take on responsibilities and explore accountable attitudes , focusing on solving problems, acting immediately, seeking continuous improvement, making a difference to improve the environment and acting as owners!
Owners and responsible for our lives, careers, companies, departments and results.
