There are certain basic factors that ensure that almost all projects are successful. This is my experience in the more than ten years in which I have been able to help set up and support corporate influencer programs in companies.

How do you create the basis on which it can have an impact both externally and internally? How and why does this create benefits for both the employer and all those involved? Here are...
15 crucial success factors for the corporate influencer program
1. First and foremost: satisfied employees
Corporate influencer programs are based on employees showing up for an employer they are proud of or at least feel comfortable with. Working on such a program, or a comprehensive brand ambassador strategy in general, is always also working on the corporate culture, and ideally it strengthens identification and a sense of belonging.
But that only applies if the signs are already right. You can't demand pride or employee satisfaction, and if these conditions aren't met, there are other issues to address first. Because please don't forget: dissatisfied employees are also brand ambassadors. They often talk about their employer, especially in private circles, and that leaves listeners with an authentic but not always positive impression. However, you can't put better messages into the mouths of such brand ambassadors by setting up a corresponding program. On the contrary: If the mood is already bad, then attempts by management or corporate communications to get employees to make positive PR-driven statements can actually make the situation worse.
