Increase sales through auto-optimization – here's how it works
You can implement automatic optimization for sales in just a few steps using the campaign manager.
1. Drag the A/B Test icon into the workspace.

2. Define your campaign settings.
start The start date is also the sending date of the test emails.
Recipient Select the mailing list and, if desired, one or more target groups.
archive Define the archive to which your mailings should be added.
parameter Here you enter the size of your test groups (in percent).
mailing Select the two mailings you want to test against each other.
Decision In the decision criteria, select sales and say when the final mailing should be sent.
Tip: We recommend waiting at least 24 hours after the test mailing to get a meaningful result.
Parameter2 This icon fills itself up and the remaining recipients are automatically determined.
mailing You don't need to edit this icon either. The more successful mailing will be selected automatically.
End The campaign needs an automatic end.

3. Activate the campaign and send the final mailing
Once all settings have been made, save the campaign and activate it. You do not need to select anything else to send the more successful mailing. Based on the test results, the EMM determines which mailing generates more sales and automatically sends it to the remaining recipients.
The only requirement for auto-optimization for sales is that you use sales measurement in EMM.
Of course, numerous other test scenarios can be implemented with auto-optimization. Auto-optimization to increase sales is just one example. Subject lines and content can also be optimized. In such cases, we generally recommend AB testing, as multivariate testing in smaller test groups usually does not produce sufficiently meaningful results.
