Reading tip: 5 writing guides you should read

Post by Mitu100@ »

I learn every day. Not to become a bad copy of Stephen King or Tim Ferriss, but to be a better version of myself.

I improve my style - I don't change it, because I'm not ashamed of my style. I consciously accept that not everyone likes me. I don't want that. I want to please the right people.

So you shouldn't be ashamed of your style and your writing voice. Improve it, but don't deny it - it's a part of you. As soon as you move away from your heart, you write like a fish out of water.

5) Topic
We bloggers are a strange bunch for people out there. Many write about established topics like technology, marketing, family or work. But there are also bloggers who write about a topic that interests no jamaica telegram screening one - except themselves. If you are one of them: don't be ashamed.

You don't have to apologize for your earthworm blog or your Nutella bread blog. It's your passion, your topic, your heart's desire. You shouldn't expect too much traffic, and you're sure to experience a lack of visitors.

But that's not a bad thing. You're writing for yourself. That's totally OK. But don't expect readers . Because then the blog is a matter between you and your self and not between you and the reader.

Maybe it doesn't make money, but it will bring you fulfillment. Don't be ashamed of it.

6) Money
Sometimes I have to puke.

Not because I'm sick, but because particularly intelligent people say particularly intelligent things.

This includes: “You are not a blogger. Your articles are pure marketing.”

(PS: Here is my list of the best marketing books ).
