My retirement planning was always simple: I got paid FIRST.

The more correction loops the customer requires, the longer he will delay receiving the ordered product.

So get paid in advance.

If the customer is not willing to do this, then don't hire him.

Point.

Aside from that:

Never “try” new techniques on customers.

I always tested certain techniques (like my Hack Google approach ) myself before implementing them for clients.
