Did you sleep in grammar class?

Category II: Fatal, soporific
This category is tough. Because it destroys your reader. It drives them away. Not immediately, but permanently. Watch your words!

21) Make/do

Write clearly! Write vividly! Show the action instead of describing it !

These rules from a writer's toolbox also apply to you as a blogger. Compare this to Andreas Eschbach's brilliant 10-point text revision ! In this respect, the shadow word "make" is a poor example of a series of sleep-inducing terms.

Always show exactly who does what and how.

Compare: “He is cleaning the czech republic telegram screening floor.” with “Paul is scrubbing the floor tiles.”

22) Moving around

This is of a similar caliber to the previous word. Replace it with more appropriate verbs! Only civil servants are allowed to be boring.

Compare: “The vehicle was moving at high speed.” with “The old Mercedes was racing down the play street.”

23) Slow/difficult

Here the two words represent adjectives and adverbs.

"Ad...WHAT???"

Adjectives are attribute words or how words. They describe a quality or a relationship of a (concrete) thing, an (abstract) matter, a process or state, etc. According to Wikipedia.
