3. Sponsored Search
The third type of ad – sponsored search – was introduced very recently. With this type of ad, advertisers can promote their page to Facebook users who use the search functionality within Facebook. For example, Samsung can advertise on its own brand name, but also on that of competitors (LG, HTC) or important platforms such as 'Facebook'. Directly below the 'natural' search result, a result with the label 'sponsored' will appear. For example, if you type in Facebook, you will get the following results:

I personally find it logical that Windows advertises on the search term Facebook. Perhaps M&M's does it, because a lot of them are eaten when people are on Facebook ;-). Sponsored Search is also very reminiscent of Google Adwords, especially because it is also possible to advertise on the names of your competitors. Sponsored search advertisements can be targeted to every Facebook user and can be paid for on the basis of CPC and CPM.

4. App downloads
Brand new are the so-called mobile app install ads . In plain English; mobile application downloads. These are advertisements that allow you to promote downloads of native iPhone and Android apps. Facebook users see the advertisement for a mobile app in their news feed. If they click on it, they are – depending on their device – immediately forwarded to the app in question in the App Store on the iPhone or the Google Play store. Here they can download the app immediately. This is of course a fantastic development for developers of mobile apps. With these advertisements they can very specifically target mobile users and steer towards conversion (read: downloads) of apps.

Sponsored Reports
The second category of Facebook ads are sponsored stories . With sponsored stories cambodia telegram data you can magnify a fan's interaction on Facebook to the fan's friends. Think of:

liking a page;
claiming an offering;
viewing a photo or video;
responding to a poll;
checking in at a place or
using an application.
The sponsored reports can therefore not be targeted to every Facebook user, but only to the friends of a fan. But rest assured, with a Facebook page of 10,000 fans, the group of friends of fans is often between 150,000 and 250,000 people. The sponsored reports come in no less than 12 different variants. I will explain the 3 most commonly used ones below with an example.

1. 'Like Page' Sponsored Report
This shows a fan's friends that he or she has become a fan of your Facebook page. This type of sponsored story is the most effective way to build your page's fan base. In the image below you can see an example of a photo Like sponsored story in the news overview on desktop.
