The dashboard provides a wealth of information, such as the number of views of your business in the past four weeks and 'top tasks' that need to be completed to complete your profile. For example, in this screenshot you can see adding a URL, photos and Google Posts. This allows you to see all relevant information from Google My Business at a glance, while you would normally need many different screens in Google My Business to do so.
I wonder if the above 5 innovations will increase the involvement of companies in Google My Business. A functionality that can certainly promote this is currently being tested in America and India, among other places: Messaging. This is a way to chat directly with customers, based on the information that a business owner fills in in the Google My Business portal:
As soon as this functionality is available in the Netherlands, I will provide an update to explain how to get started with it, how it works and what my experiences are.
I'm curious what opportunities you see for your business with these new developments at Google My Business. Let me know below!
Working online is ingrained in Frankwatching's greek phone number corporate culture. We don't know any better: for 11 years, we even existed without an office! Almost everyone still works from home or at another location on a regular basis. But that doesn't mean we have to miss the chats at the coffee machine: we 'simply' have those online, with the tool Slack. These are our tips for using Slack as a social intranet.
In collaboration you see roughly three components, which vary from very structured and formal to unstructured and informal.
First of all, you have the team or work meetings, which take place every month, often according to a fixed agenda and with the same people. The digital counterpart to that is our Google Drive, which is incredibly structured, often based on numbers (spreadsheets).
Secondly, you have a brainstorm, which is more informal and creative.
Finally, you have spontaneous conversations ('I have an idea... Do you have a moment?').
For the last two components we use online Slack . Not only internally, but also externally, for example with suppliers, partners, our reporters and fellow residents of our office.
