This free support, which can continue on the administrative and site monitoring levels, enabled 373 projects to see the light of day in the first phase, out of an initial target of 300. 81 projects were then completed out of a target of 80 by the end of 2018. Given the success of the operation, the second phase started in 2019 enabled the development of 468 additional projects. On this lot, the community hopes to effectively produce 300 new housing offers, which is equivalent to 40% of the annual production targets across the nine municipalities concerned. "Most of our projects concern elderly owners who detach a plot of land and put it up for sale," explains Thomas Hanss. "And the buyers are often young people or families looking to build in well-located areas. They can thus avoid moving to peripheral areas, and strengthen the dynamics of the town centre. Finally, intergenerational diversity is achieved through this sharing of land."
During these operations, the scenarios encountered are often the same: the owners choose to build a small single-storey house on their own land, then sell their main sweden phone number list house, generally to a family who will renovate it. More rarely, his team supports the creation of a construction intended to accommodate a parent, as an alternative to a retirement home. The rest of the house is then offered for rental, with retirees thus benefiting from additional income.
