Distribution of office software for architects

Post by Bappy11 »

Highlights of the study:
Architectural firms are increasingly using general software rather than software that is specialized for their industry.
Software is most commonly used in architectural firms for project management and the administration of offers and invoices.
50% of the offices surveyed can imagine relying more on cloud solutions in the future.
Which office software is used
First of all, we were interested in which areas software is actually used.

Project management and the management of offers and invoices are at the forefront here. These two categories are followed by software from the HR area, for example for vacation planning.

This part of the survey didn't surprise us. Project management, accounting and HR denmark telegram data are something like the holy trinity of software usage in many industries.

We found the answer to the next questions more surprising.

Less specialized software solutions
Special architecture software compared to normal office software for architects
Our results clearly show that the majority of architectural firms tend to use general solutions rather than solutions that are specialized for their industry. We would have expected the opposite result here, as the industry has many special processes and requirements that could be easier to map with specialized solutions - for example, when it comes to managing several dozen (or even hundreds) construction sites at the same time, creating construction diaries and defect reports, etc.
