Today I have an event that is even cooler than my birthday: the Web-likbez blog has finally been re-dressed! The previous design, created back in 2014, has become quite shabby over the years.
For the new design, a huge thank you to the wonderful Anya Zhmaeva, who created it according to the latest fashion, Vlad Chernetsky, who brought it to life, and Kirill Gamza, who organized it all. Guys, you are argentina number data awesome and the most patient people in the world!
Another piece of good news: my old snail found a place in the new design, albeit in miniature. She also remained on social networks.
Let me tell you where it came from and what it means to me.
When I opened this blog in 2012, I was against any aggressive promotion, mass following and other manifestations of intrusiveness. I thought that it was harmful to the reputation of the business. That's why I took the slogan "Festina lente" ("Hurry slowly").
This Latin aphorism was taken together with a snail from a painting by Damir Muratov (2004):

Instead of a shell, she has wings, which opens up many meanings to us.
At my request, Damir drew a simplified black and white version of his snail for the website and social media covers — directly with a brush on paper (I then scanned everything). All versions were drawn from scratch, not digitally replicated. If you look closely, you can see that the snail is different everywhere. My favorite version from the horizontal version ended up in the header, favicon, and social media avatars.New design of Web-Likbez
As for my views on aggressive promotion, life and work have made their own harsh adjustments to them. If you want to take a project to a new level, you sometimes have to step over yourself. More likely, often. And to be more precise, every day.
So let at least this little snail with wings instead of a shell remain here - as a reminder of the previous, more naive version of me.
