Guest contributions
You can go far with guest posts .

But only if you make them helpful, authoritative, and memorable. (Then the webmaster ebay database will hardly ever think about the placement of your guest post and will simply delete it during the next content review.)

Googling terms like:

[Niche] "write for us"
or

[Niche] "Guest Post Guidelines"
will return dozens of sites in your niche that welcome guest posts and their quality criteria.

A homepage backlink is usually placed in your author bio at the end (or beginning) of your post.

This will make your bio appealing to the post reader, who needs to know why it's important to continue the experience on your website (for example, the reader of your guest post about email marketing can find more successful examples of email marketing templates on your website).

8. Valuable blog comments

That certainly helps, but the value of your content is more important. If your comments contribute significantly to the content of the post, the blogger might well feature you in their next post—or publish a guest post from you.

Believe me, I got a homepage backlink in 2014 because I left a great comment on a blogger's post (one I admire).

And he placed the backlink on the Ahrefs blog!
