Well, the discipline of mapping , automation, measuring, and improving business processes has not changed. It is still the core competitive advantage (or disadvantage) for the vast majority of businesses in the world. However, many may be confused and think everything is new because while the concepts and purpose remain the same, the technology landscape looks nothing like it did just a few years ago.
