The history of this amazing park began in 1954. It was then that a wealthy Thai family purchased this large plot of land in the Chanburi Valley. At first, orchards were laid out here, where oranges, mangoes, coconuts and other tropical fruits were grown. After a long trip to Europe, the owner of the land, Mrs. Nong Nooch, returned to her homeland and decided to turn the orchards into a large tropical park. In 1980, the work was completed and Nong Nooch Tropical Garden welcomed its first visitors.
