Andrew Reynolds: We’ve got forums haven’t we? We’ve got these discussion forums, do you love those things?

You get some right grumpy bastard who goes on one of these discussion forums and he starts having a go. Because he’s had a bad day “Let’s put a post up there.” Then this Herbert comes on and he says “Right okay, I agree with you mate, I don’t think it’s right do you?”

Andrew Reynolds: And then some old guy has got a real phone number data on his shoulder, he comes on as well, then the nutter comes in, then the real mental case and ladies I’ve let you off the hook here okay? You get all these guys and they are all talking each other down and then other people looking from the outside at a forum look at it and think “These guys who must be great, they are telling us it’s no good so it can’t be any good.” But these are the guys that we are contending with, these are the guys actually posting on the forums, they are not qualified to comment.

Andrew Reynolds: I had a bloke sent me an email. A couple of days ago he sent me the harshest email you could imagine, the language it was disgraceful. He didn’t like my course; he told me what I could do with my course.

He then wrote me an email, a couple of days later he said “Oh my God I owe you an apology. I’ve just looked through my sent emails and I’ve realised that the last email I sent you was pretty harsh. Andrew I am so sorry, I had come home after a pretty drunken night and was fed up with myself and I just wanted somebody to lay into.”

You don’t know that the guys in the discussion forums are speaking any sense; they are probably doing the drugs and the booze because they are all sad people you know?

Be careful who you listen to; be careful who you get the input from. Don’t join the grumpy club.
