Hac Project and Cámara Bilbao together in the eus-COMMERCE programme

Hac Project and Bilbao Chamber together in the eus-COMMERCE digital audit program 1
There are some jobs that are particularly worthwhile and of which we are very proud. One of these has to do with retail trade, which we are trying to help within the eus-COMMERCE programme , promoted by the Basque Government and the Basque Chambers of the sector .

It was the Chamber of Commerce of Bilbao that contacted us to evaluate the online presence of three well-known businesses from Bizkaia ( Grupo Goya, Perfumería Erlai and Arnaga Papelería ), contribute to their digitalisation and thereby open up a horizon of new opportunities. We liked the challenge, we got down to work and we fulfilled it with great pleasure and analytical and professional vision.

Digital audit for businesses in Bizkaia
At Hac Project we are quite clear that a large part of the success when developing a strategy and filling it with actions depends on the correct analysis of the starting point. The first thing is to analyze. Knowing who we are and where we are going. And in this case, under the tutelage of the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce , it was necessary to know very well the reality of the businesses entrusted and carry out a thorough audit for their digital development.

We spoke to those involved, reviewed their presence on online bolivia telegram lead hannels (all of them had, at least, their own e-commerce) and with the help of specific tools we presented them with an audit that, in summary, included the following sections:

1) A study on website usability aimed at improving conversions (increasing sales). We told them what they could improve in their e-commerce and how to do it.

2) A specific report dedicated to SEO or search engine optimization. It included an analysis of keywords and web traffic, measuring the quality of the latter and suggesting improvements related to: content, incoming links, server, loading speed, etc.

3) An in-depth analysis of metrics and analytics , with special attention to traffic over the past year and its comparison with the same period in the previous year. In this section, we highlight the data that is more focused on sales (both from the audited companies and their competitors) and the detection of the most successful content.

4) A final document with conclusions, additional research and business opportunities . Very focused on humanizing the audit as a whole, making it understandable for applicants and teaching them new ways to develop their business in the digital field.

About audited businesses
The Goya Group is a true institution in the stationery sector in Bilbao. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since its founder, Jesús Prieto, opened his first shop in 1942, but its philosophy remains the same: “Don’t ask us what we can do, but ask us what we can’t do.”

Erlai is a different perfumery with exclusive products and close, personalized attention. They have a tradition of more than 40 years in fragrances and cosmetics and work with niche brands, aware that differentiation is a big part of added value.

Arnaga is a creative and artisanal stationery store. As they say on their website, they turn “paper and ribbons into surprising wrappings, handmade wedding details and invitations, custom boxes for your wardrobes and much more.”
