12.24 18:23 • 1614 The Prosecutorial Council elected Prosecutor Londa Bichikashvili as the new Chairperson of the Prosecutorial Council by secret ballot. According to information released by the Prosecutor's Office, Londa Bichikashvili was unanimously supported by the members of the Council meeting and she took up the post of the Chairman of the Council for a two-year term. The position of the Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council was previously held by Shota Tkeshelashvili.


Tkeshelashvili has held the position since January 1, 2023. Londa Bichikashvili has been working in the Prosecutor's Office since 2006.
