Developments on the internet are happening at breakneck speed. We publish, share, like, pin and plus each other. We use various platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google and WordPress. In previous editions in the Infographic Day series we showed what is happening online . Today an update.
Website Qmee collected recent data on the use of the internet and various platforms. They processed the data in the infographic below. It gives a good picture of what is happening online. And the figures are not based on activities of a day or week. We do all these online activities in just 60 seconds!
We are very active online, that is clear. Because in 1 minute we perform south africa mobile phone number list 2 million searches on Google, we download 15,000 tracks in iTunes and more than 500 new websites are added. A lot also happens on social media in a minute. Every second we publish 41,000 photos on Facebook and we take 3,600 new photos with the Instagram app. On Twitter we post 278,000 tweets in 60 seconds, we perform 11,000 searches in LinkedIn and 11,000 users are active on Pinterest.
