Calling via 4G network
The new service has been available in Canada and the US for a few months now, and in the UK and Germany for a few weeks now. The first opinions of my Canadian relatives are positive: Facebook Messenger works better than Skype. Also on Considering Apple the first message is moderately positive. In Canada and the US users do have the advantage of a 4G network. KPN and Vodafone have just started rolling this out in the Netherlands and so far only T-mobile is going to offer 4G for free to its customers . At KPN customers have to increase their internet bundle to have 4G .
VoIP via the Messenger app will france mobile phone number list have a big impact on the providers, because the customer will use (even) fewer minutes than before. And who knows, in the future the service might be just as much of a burden on telecom providers as Whatsapp was for sms .

VoIP is the future
The new feature in Facebook Messenger shows that VoIP for consumers is also growing. In addition, the growth of VoIP for the business market is also not standing still. According to Telecompaper, fixed telephony is growing thanks to VoIP . This is also evident from the larger telcos that are massively entering VoIP telephony . In short: VoIP is the future for both business and private use!
