Brazilian influencers are experiencing the full meaning of the word influence. This is because 92% of the influencers’ audience frequently applies their tips and advice in their daily lives. This information was disclosed in the survey “#Publi: The impact of the Creators Economy among Brazilian internet users”, authored by IAB Brazil.
When it comes to advertising through influencers, 58% of respondents said that advertisements are interesting for discovering new products. In terms of conversion, 82% of respondents said they have already purchased a product or service recommended by an influencer.
Furthermore, 65% of internet users in the country claim nigeria whatsapp data to consume products produced by influencers on a daily basis. This consumption is divided into several media formats, with short videos (such as Shorts, Reels, Tiktok) being the most attractive format – and especially effective in creating advertising and marketing strategies.
Commenting on the research findings, Cris Camargo, CEO of IAB Brazil, highlighted that the Creator Economy has become increasingly relevant in digital advertising and, therefore, it is necessary to develop technical standards and good practices for this segment.
The CEO also highlighted points such as belonging and authenticity, which need to be taken into consideration to build lasting relationships with communities, one of the differentiators presented by successful influencers.
