SpaceX's new plans for Starlink: telephone communication and tariffs for the low-income

Post by zakiyatasnim »

Interesting video editing apps from the Play Store:

ActionDirector;
Adobe Premiere Rush, which replaced Adobe Premiere Clip;
FilmoraGo;
InShot (creating videos for YouTube and TikTok);
VivaVideo;
Movavi Clips;
KineMaster.SpaceX has released a document outlining its plans for Starlink. The satellite system will provide phone service, voice call backup, and cheaper rates for low-income people under the government's Lifeline program. Let's take a closer look at the company's future plans.

All the details are in Starlink's application to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for an Eligible Telecommunications Carrier (ETC) license under the Communications Act. SpaceX says this legal process is required in several states where it will deploy broadband in underserved areas with public funding. ETC status will also allow it to receive compensation under the Lifeline program for providing discounted services to low-income people.

Starlink is currently in beta testing. The cost of its services is $99 per month. In addition, there is a one-time fee of $499 for installing a terminal for receiving the signal, a WiFi router and all the necessary cables and connections. The SpaceX document states that Starlink currently has more than 10 thousand users in the United States and abroad. So far, Starlink can install up to 1 million satellite dishes, and it wants to get permission from the FCC to increase this number to 5 million.

VoIP plans
The beta version of Starlink only includes internet connectivity, but SpaceX nepal number data says it will eventually start providing VoIP services. These will include:

voice access to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or its functional equivalent;
minutes of use for local services at no additional charge to end users;
access to emergency services;
cheaper services for low-income consumers.
SpaceX says voice services will be provided at a separate price, similar to local city rates. The plan is not yet finalized, but the company is already exploring the possibility of using MSP (Managed Service Provider) platforms.
It is worth mentioning separately the existence of simple video editors that are able to create videos in automatic mode. To do this, the user needs to specify files (video, audio, images) for composition, and after a few seconds get the result. The video can be edited or left as is. As one example, we can cite the Quik editor from GoPro.

Most free smartphone apps have a limited base of effects and/or built-in advertising that greatly interferes with the process.

Video editing applications on smartphones can be considered an alternative to video editors for PCs, although for the simplest operations and short videos this is an interesting option.
