Content novelty

Post by subornaakter24 »

The system will definitely evaluate the freshness of publications, because users should receive up-to-date information. The exceptions are literary works, historical materials and other publications that are not subject to updating.

The search engine makes serious demands on the relevance of the rest of the content. The date of creation of the material, frequency of updates, and scale are taken into account. The Freshness algorithm appeared in Google in 2003, and seven years later – the new indexing system Caffeine.

The more frequently the content is updated, the psychiatrist email addresses more frequently the system will scan the site.

Syndicated content
Syndication is the re-publication of texts on other resources, in social networks. Search engines have a positive attitude towards this method, which allows introducing a new audience to content that is copied to third-party sites.

But there is a danger here, as John Mueller warned in February 2019: Google treats as canon a link to a more authoritative page, which is not always the original source. That is, syndicated content can rank higher than the original.

The methods of combating this boil down to increasing the authority of the web resource and preventing illegal copying of publications.

Hidden content
Bad and nothing else – this is how Google previously assessed the presence of hidden content, perceiving it exclusively as a way to manipulate search, punishing with fines.

In modern conditions, the system is gradually moving to a mobile first index, when the mobile version of the resource is analyzed first, where hiding content is necessary to facilitate work and simplify the interface.

Google understands this and adequately perceives "hidden" content in mobile applications, but manipulating the results and violating the rules is still unacceptable. Differences in site navigation for PCs and gadgets will also not cause complaints from the system, since they are already becoming the norm.
