Are you willing to pay the price? [Manifesto of a Dreamer]

Post by Mitu100@ »

From the hall, Thomas listens to the best violinist in the world, who fills the hall of the New York Philharmonic with his violin playing.

Then the moment has come: the last note is played.

Nobody speaks. Some costa rica telegram screening forget to breathe. For a second it is as quiet as the moon.

But then it breaks out, the cheering, the thunderous applause, the storm of enthusiasm.

After the performance, Thomas gets through to the world-class violinist. Still excited by the performance, he says: "I would give my life to play like that."

The violinist looks at him.

"I gave my life to play like this."

The violinist turns around and leaves Thomas speechless.

Are you willing to pay the price?
Everything has its price.

If you want to achieve something that inspires people, that moves people to tears, that endures the test of time, you have to pay a price.

This price is paid in three currencies: money, time and attention.

No matter what your dream is. No matter who you want to be. Whether you want to be a blogger, musician or dancer, you have to pay the price.

And not just in one currency, but in all three.
