2 Run Windows Defender Antivirus Offline for a Full Scan

Barely detectable rootkits can cripple Windows security if they penetrate deeply enough. This process eliminates persistent risks that other continuous scans may miss.

1. To open Settings , use the keyboard shortcut Windows+I . Or open it directly from the console panel.

3. To do this, go to "Scan Options".

4. Select “Microsoft Defender Offline Scan”. Click “Scan now”. Your system will begin the scanning process and reboot.

3 Send the problematic file to Microsoft for analysis
If your Windows Security system has a program that is consistently detected as a threat, even though it isn't one, you can submit it to Microsoft for further analysis.

1. Visit the official "Submit a file for malware analysis" page: Microsoft File Submission s:.microsoftomen-uswdsifilesubmission.

2. That's it - sign in with your Microsoft account. Open the problematic file and enter the explanation of the problem in the appropriate line.
