The teenage track "Sigma-boy" went viral on social networks back in late 2024. Thousands of TikTok users began recording videos with "Sigma-boy" — unexpectedly for the track's authors — then the song appeared on the first line of the popular Spotify service, and in December, the Italian football club "Atalanta" posted a video with the voiceover from the song on its official channel. In mid-January 2025, the track reached seventh place in the dance top on the Billboard music chart.

The performers of the hit are 12-year-olds Svetlana Chertishcheva (Betsy) and Maria Yankovskaya. Svetlana lives in St. Petersburg, Maria in Moscow. They had recorded teenage songs before, but "Sigma-boy" was their first breakthrough not only on Russian but also foreign platforms. The composer himself explains that he planned to write a hit right away: "The song "Sigma Boy" is very well thought out so that it would be interesting to a large audience. It has a meme element, but at the same time I tried to make it a full-fledged song that is simply pleasant to listen to outside the framework of social networks. I integrated a folk motif into it, and this also influenced its future fate in its own way. Any ethnic music, made with talent, is very popular with listeners."
