1. Define goals

Before you start sailing the seas of blogging, you must first know where you are going .

An exercise you can do to find out is to think of a perfect scenario , with your content strategy delivering perfect results:

Is success based on having tons of subscribers to your blog?
Are you going to go after repeat pageviews so you can sell ads on a CPM basis?
Are you more concerned about gaining the trust of your brand's bc data malaysia readers so they'll do something for you, like subscribe to a product?
Is success about outranking your competitors on Google? When you're at the top, what do you want random users to do when they find your content?
Is success about having a well-known reputation in your industry, with other blogs and publications citing you and seeking your advice? Do you crave impact, influence, and notoriety?
Now get more specific: How many subscribers do you want? Who do you want to respect you in your industry? How many monthly conversions will be a success?

A successful Content Marketing strategy must address 5 basic objectives (see the link for more information on which indicators to use and what questions to ask yourself):

Increase web traffic and improve your organic positioning
Create or improve the brand image
Generate potential clients ( leads )
Improve brand engagement
Increase sales
2. Identify audience and habits
Articles created to appeal to a broad segment don't reach anyone's heart. Developing a deep understanding of your ideal customer, better known in marketing as buyer personas , is essential to increasing the relevance of your efforts.

“In #ContentMarketing, the most important thing is to create content that the RIGHT people love.”

Buyer persona
