Any process that takes place in an organization involves a communication process...

...You will agree with me that creating a work environment open to fluid communication will allow all parties involved in the organization to achieve significant professional development , even more so if it is carried out unconsciously, because if the most important parts of knowledge are processed in this way the level of understanding is much greater, and therefore the optimal results of the processes that take place in the company will come by themselves.

This is why the application of new communication techniques or disciplines that help us improve this communication process are always well received in the company . One of south africa phone data them is Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or as it is commonly known by its acronym NLP . It emerged in 1972 as a result of a study carried out at the University of Santa Cruz, California, by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, who investigated the differences between normal and successful communication.

I like to define it as "the programming and organization of the sensory experiences we live , taking into account that every experience results from neurologically processing the internal and external sensations we perceive, expressing these neurological processes through verbal language."

Although it is true that the origin of Neuro-Linguistic Programming is in psychotherapy and pedagogy, since the 1990s its use has been extrapolated to all types of activities, where it offers substantial improvements in communication processes.

The notion “ Neuro-Linguistic Programming” is encompassed by three different concepts:
- Programming : This concept refers to the way in which our brain develops the ability to plan our thoughts and consequently our behavior.

- Neuro : This concept refers to the different neurological processes that take place in our brain in relation to the different senses (vision, hearing, taste, touch and smell) when we use them to process both internal thoughts and to interact with our environment.

- Linguistics : This concept refers to the use of language in the communication process that we establish both socially and with ourselves in order to organize our thoughts.

We are therefore in a position to affirm that Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a set of capabilities developed by our being that help us to make more efficient use of our resources, talents and skills, increasing our level of self-esteem and thus improving our social relationships.

With NLP we learn to improve our communication process by guiding it towards the objective we have previously established. It teaches us to listen to what the other person says, but also to read their non-verbal language, which allows us to adapt our response and give the most appropriate one.
